ACCA P4 or P5

    Hello everybody,

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times before. But I didn't see a convincing answer in many of the blogposts. So looking for some advice from people who have attempted P4 & P5.

I did fairly okay in F5, F9 and P2. I plan to do either P4 or P5 for March 2018 sitting. The course will be intensive, 4 classes a week and runs for 5 weeks. I also want to do this course from Accountancy School. The lecturers are Liam Doran for P4 (I had him for P2) and Mick Bristow (I did F5 and F9 with him). I am comfortable with their lecturing styles.

I want to know the difficulty level of P4 & P5 compared to P2 and F9 (a bit strange  but I found F9 harder than P2) and is it doable in this short course.

Appreciate any insight you all can offer me.

    I did both P4 and P5. I can't comment on F9 as I was exempt from it but I found P4 and P5 more doable than P2.

If you prefer theory do P5 as there is very little calculations in that paper. I found this paper to be linked to what you would of studied in the P3 paper.

Do P4 if you prefer number crunching. There is a theory element to P4 but it is very straightforward.
