    Interesting that because of the terrain and role in which it's working, it will generate more lecky than it consumes.

    This is the kind of situation where I believe Hydrogen, generated from a clean source, would actually be ideal, however I'm not sure fuel cells would be good enough yet. But a hydrogen leak would be a huge disaster.

    It's carrying loads down into the mine, so it gains more power going down as it expels going back up. Sounds like a good fit.

    If ye read the article you would see that it generates more energy than it needs, and it outputs the surplus to the grid.
