travel health insurance for visiting parents

hello,
Could anyone please advise me about buying a good health insurance plan for visiting family to Ireland?
my parents are planning to visit Ireland and UK for 2-3 months.
They are both 65 years old. My mother has diabetes and needs to take regular medicine to keep it in control. While I hope and pray that they wont need any medical assistance during their stay here, I want to buy a health insurance plan for any emergencies?
Could anyone please advise which plan would be suitable for 65 year old parents with pre-existing conditions.

normally you have to buy the travel insurance, with health cover, in your home country not the destination.

Yes they will need to get cover from their country of residence, some will limit or won't provide cover for people with existing conditions, have a look here for some recommendations....

Also tell them to get the EHIC card, this will allow them to use public hospitals here as if they were Irish patients...

Where are they coming from? If outside eu then EHIC card won't apply. Can they look up and book the travel insurance from their country and you pay?
