VW Golf Mk5 boot badge "whiteworm"

    It's a 2007 Mk5

    I have that ugly whiteworm effect on the boot badge... What's the best way of going about sorting that out? I've read a few forums and some go as far as dismantling the entire assembly.. I'd prefer not to have to do that but I will if needs be. Seems like there should be an easier way to manage it though.

    I have similar issue with the wheel badges but I've ordered some simple decals to cover those.
