No Cam Module?

    Hi,

I picked up a Blaupunkt tv in Tesco's last Christmas and having gotten rid of my TV/broadband supplier I thought I'd give Saorview a try.

After attaching the coax from the back of the old box I was able to tune in a load of Saorview channels except all I get is a blank screen and no sound. The epg is all present but nothing else.

I'm also getting a No Cam Module message on the screen.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks
    Joe

So you just plugged in your old broadband/cable TV feed? That's not Saorview you're seeing & it won't get you Saorview, you need a UHF aerial of a type appropriate for reception conditions in your area.

This means that your TV is picking up a pay-tv signal (presumably Virgin's, via the co-ax cable) but lacks the hardware (i.e. a Virgin box) to decode it into a watchable format.

As noted above, you'll need an aerial to watch Saorview.
