Getting practice

I'm a pretty okay photographer, strictly amateur but I enjoy it. I'd like to get some practice with people, but I'm not sure how to go about it here in Ireland. When I lived in Canada, there were really good groups and websites to arrange things, but most of the places I check here is just people looking to make porn. Not my bag.

What's a good site to set stuff up?

I'm very amateur .. I just went out this morning on my own. Pop up a time and location in a new thread or even put info in this and I'm you'll get people willing to join you.

Hi, the best place are facebook groups. They are the most popular place for models, muas and photographers. You'll be able to organize a tfp shoot there.
    Where are you located?

Another place is ModelMayhem but not so popular here in Ireland.

Join a good club, plenty of them about.
Like you I'm amateur. Joined a club a year ago after a beginners course, entered my first competition recently and got placed.
What I learned gave me the confidence to get out and about and take photos

I'm not sure of what you are looking for here. Is it to get practice photographing people or to meet with people to practice photography?

If the former that as above you really should look at getting into a photography club.
If it's the latter than you could ask on here if anyone is interested in doing a photowalk. Search the forum for 'Photowalk' and you'll see several threads that have been run in the past, mostly successfully.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.
