    Hi all,

Putting my Remington 700 Light Varmint Stainless Fluted up for sale. I haven't had it that long, but it doesn't really suit me. Would be a much better hunting rig. Very light. Accurate with 50 and 55 grainers. I can get (just) sub MOA, I'm sure a better shooter can get more out of the rifle though :)

    Specs:

Rifle: Remington 700 Light Varmint Stainless Fluted
    Caliber: 223 Remington
Barrel Length: 22 inches not threaded
    Twist rate: 1 in 12"
Magazine: Blind Box (loaded from the ejection port, no floor plate)
Scope: Hawke Vantage IR 6-24x50 Illuminated Mildot reticle (bought new with the rifle by me).
Bipod: Harris style (not an actual harris)

    Asking price: 950 Euro

    Images attached.

I'm in Mullingar. Can meet at MNSCI to view if you'd like.

Hi alanmc, did you buy this gun for hunting or target
I can imagine no floor plate as a real pain

I bought it for target shooting. Well, it was more of an impulse buy actually.

The light barrel is more suited to a hunting rig. Funnily enough the magazine didn't bother me much as I can single feed when target shooting.

    Bump. Rifle still available.

I had it out in Midlands a few weekends ago. Great little rifle. Loves the 50gr Fiocchi Ballistic tip rounds (as most 223s do).

Taking this off the market. Can a mod lock this please?

    Thanks,
    Alan.
