    Hi,

I'm just wondering can anyone answer a question for me please?

    I have a twitter a/c that I use occasionally.

I reviewed a notification saying that I had a new follower named xxxxx

This was the one that appears on you phone home screen.
I then looked at my followers as I was wondering would I follow her back. But her name didn't appear on my list.

So to me it looks like she briefly followed and then unfollowed me?
    Does this make sense?

( I'd be happier if she hasn't followed me but I was just wondering if she could be following me but not on my list ?

    Thanks

It is possible the person followed you and then changed their mind. There will be no notification then.

People follow & unfollow all the time, and don't mean anything by it.

There is however a school of social media thought that uses planned follows/unfolloews to get attention. Someone will follow you, then unfollow, maybe repeat, so that they get your attention and you follow them. It's quite annoying when you see it happening but some "influencers" aggressively use this tactic.

Yes that's what I think happened.
It's no big deal really, I could do without her reading (and being judgy) of what I post. It's someone I'm not really on good terms with, I'd not be bothered stalking/looking at hers .
Ah well time to forget and move on.
