All I've really bought so far is an advent calendar and two baubles. I've started de-cluttering the house a little by putting a bit extra into the bins every week.
We're generally start picking up bits and pieces in October. Generally we paint the living room/kitchen for Christmas also doing the hall/bathroom this year and we start this in November.
