Recycling plastic clothes hangers?

Doing a big wardrobe clear out and have a massive amount of extra clothes hangers I won't ever need - probably close to 100 at this stage!

Can these be put in the recycle bin? I am loathe to put them out with normal waste

    Thanks

a charity shop looks to me a better plan if nothing is wrong with them
They got loads of second hand clothes and think they will welcome your plastic clothes hangers with open arms
Brought a couple of weeks ago a bunch of wooden and metal ones to them and were very happy with them
Everything I don't need anymore and the conditions are okay goes to charity shops
