    91 years old. :(
So many memorable roles throughout the years.
It was so great that he lived to reprise his role as Carl Rodd in Twin Peaks the Return.

His monologue at the end of Paris, Texas is definitely one of my favourite scenes of all time.

"Did you ride that thing all the way out here to see me?"

    My favourite line of his.

I was reading an interview he did recently. Paris,Texas turned out to be his big break after years of minor roles. It was good to see him in the new Twin Peaks. RIP

Always be either Jerry in Straight Time or Molly Ringwald's Dad in Pretty in Pink to me.

    RIP. Genuine screen legend.

Repo Man is my favorite of his. It's my headcanon that Bud is the guy who finds Bruce Banner in The Avengers and tells him "You got a condition."

    Farewell, Mr. Stanton.

Very interesting which role, depending on your age and gender I guess, you associate him with most... to me, he'll always be the guy who got killed by the monster during the initial 'reveal' scene in Alien...

EDIT: Also amazed he was 91 years old!

It's great the fact he lived long enough to reprise his role of 'Carl Rodd' in the new 'Twin Peaks' season.
Looking back over his work today, I never knew he was the Judge in this scene from 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas'. He was in so much great work! What a great legacy to leave for the future.

    Rest In Peace
