Help with online purchase

    Hi i bought a car dvd player from gearbest & costumes have it i used nl post & it says on anpost site tracking country of origin Netherlands . I just got a letter from anpost looking for cost of item i have downloaded the receipt from gearbest for item it says 20 dollars will this do them as item cost 60 dollars. I was going to say a friend sent it too me from holland.

    Take a screenshot of the order from gearbest. If that says $20.00. Customs will usually agree.

    Anyway you should post this issue in Consumer issues.

    Thanks but the gearbest invioce says 60 euro so unless i can get them to change this or do it myself i am caught.

    Just pay up so? What's the issue? You bought something outside the EU for 60 quid, and now it's time to pay the tax on it. At least that is what I can gather from your post, you mention 20 and 60 as the purchase price...

    Thems the rules. I learned the hard way. Now I don't order anything over €22 from outside the EU unless I'm prepared to pay customs. Sometimes it's still worth it. New rules are on the way that'll mean everything, even under €22, will be subject to customs.
