Press the "Alt Gr" key (to the right of the space bar) and then $/4

What input method do you have set? For example, UK or Ireland will have it on the 4 key, US on the 5 key I believe.

An alternative is Alt + 0128. Hold the ALT key and press in sequence 0128 and let go of the ALT key.

The symbol is on the physical 4 key but what input do you have set in your settings?

In windows 10 go to Settings -> Time & Language -> Region & language

What do you have your County or Region set to? And what Language do you have set as your first listed language? When you click onto you first language, click on Options. What keyboard is listed?
