Radiator size

    What size double radiator (in feet and inches) do I need for a living room .It is 17.6 x 12.6 feet. Ceiling 8 feet high . Two exterior cavity filled block walls with total three double windows 2'10" x 4'10" each. Concrete floor covered with timber on underlay.

    There are lots of heat loss calculators on the www that will help you calculate the requirements. Just know your delta T so that you can pick the correct one. E.g. for a given room with the same heat loss, a radiator on a condensing boiler would need to be about 40% larger than one that would be running hotter on a standard boiler.
