why are the postmasters against the an post smart account ?

    They have been crying out for years for an post to give them new services but now refuse to cooperate with the new smart account.

    I think its fairly obvious from reading the article that implementing the new account will mean less work for them and their members.

    It does seem that each post office is its own little fiefdom, and the people running them have a habit of making their own rules. Not a great way to run a business, really.
