I was wondering how difficult it is to transfer from one college to another, specifically to do first year in one college and then go into the second year of the same subject in Trinity? Does this happen often? Are there any extra costs? Would it be awkward? Thank you :)

I will depend on the modules you have done and your results. It doesn't cost much to apply if you can. contact the colleges admissions office and the department you are considering transferring to. You may also find more information of the colleges advanced entry page in the admissions office section
