Leixlip: Highway 66 gone and new wine bar to open in its place

    Not sure when it's opening as it just says "new wine bar coming soon" in the window.

    I'll be curious to see how it does as I thought the era of wine bars had come and gone.

    Macari family members are behind it. I think it'll be their seventh business in the town.

    We were once there when some time deadline passed (1030pm?) and they took our glasses and replaced them with paper cups !(young couple in deserted caff!) In fairness the staff were alright and food basic but honest stodge
