    What about a sexy remark

If someone doesn't grasp that concept then it's likely they're a bit too thick to know what a sexist remark is anyway so it's hardly going to be effective.

I mean it's not like people are actively out there going "ah, I know, I'll say something sexist, that'll win her over!"

And the topic for discussion is what?

Are we to be offended or cheering?

I honestly thought the thread was going to be a rebuke of some boards.ie poster, in a kind of 'open-letter' way

Look at the poster. Why does it have to be men.

Perhaps because 95% of the time it is.

The message is the same regardless. But let's lambast them for the image anyway.

    The poster is sexist.

    Also, looks like Hitler.

Could we have an aul example?

Like. "That dress would look great on my floor"

Rather than "that dress would look great on my ironing board after you're finished doing my shirts"

    ?

Correct. Sexist no matter what genders are depicted. Somebody will be offended either way.

If only we could all be less easily offended.

Is it not racist 2 white people

Seems counter productive with the Hook sage, people are getting fed up with men this and men that.

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer
