    Hi all,

Was just wondering if anyone knows the Highfield estate area?

Is this a former/current council estate? Is it quite? Is there much in the way of crime?

    TIA

It's an old council estate from the late 60s. It's not too pleasing on the eye due to a lot of houses and not much green space. It has never looked great in my time, so if that's an issue you might want to look elsewhere. Very few rented houses now as most have been bought out. Many of the original people are still there but all getting on now. I would say it's well settled so crime is not an issue. Just make sure none of your neighbours are "characters".
