Farm assist

    Just looking into farm assist, is there many farmers on it, or is it hassle to get on it, I am a family man working but not making great money and looking into this as an option.

    Any I have come across a member of dept of social protection call out to you and goes through the application.

    do someone from social always call out to your place to inspect etc

    what is the rate as im single, living in NI as past 12 years but bought a farm of 22 acres 4 years ago in sligo and intend to farm it and im doing the house up on it to move back and live in it

    Thanks lakill, am employed and on a regular wage, would I still qualify for it as looking at all info on their Web page it mentions self employed more so.

    No it's self employed as far as I know

    You may be more suited to FIS. But I'm not sure either
