Pain in right side of face cheek sore and muscles stiff

    Ok, so a member of my family grabbed me by the right side of my face and pulled and squeezed my cheek really hard for a couple of seconds. It hurt, but I thought the pain would just go, now a week has gone by and my face is still in pain. The cheekbone aches and my facial muscles feel stiff. I know this is a really awkward and weird story.

    I tried taken Nurofen but it didn't help the pain, I applied ice, it didn't do much to help. I tried taking a hot bath to relax the muscles, it only slightly numbed my cheek but the pain returned.

    What can I do? Is there anything I can do to release tension in my facial muscles? Or induce a muscle spasm?
