Samsung S8+ - how to unlock

Hi, I appear to have bought second-hand Samsung S8+ which I thought was unlocked to any network, but seems to be locked to a network which is not Three. Does anyone know if it's possible to get this unlocked, without going back to the original owner? Thanks.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get this unlocked, without going back to the original owner?

You can get a code online for it but you probably need to know the original operator
