Convesa twin wall flue pipe -- leaking rain water

I had a stove and 8m length of external twin wall flue pipe (Convesa) which is leaking rainwater into the insulation between the two skins.

At the beginning, when the stove was lit and running hot, the water would drip at the the point where the twin wall reduced to single wall.

However in the last few months, we are unable to light a fire now because of smoke downdraft, there is no draw at all anymore.

If I open the access point outside (below the Y), I can feel that the insulation is saturated and there is often water in the t cap.

The installer has been out to check it several times and can't find any problems, however he tells me that Convesa has modified their twin wall products recently and beefed up the joints between the pipe sections...so it seems they may have encountered the problem before.

    Has anyone had similar problems?

Have you considered contacting the flue manufacturer.
