    Hi lads,

Just moved into new house. Boiler is an oil boiler and it is a Gem Domestic boiler.

There is a switch with 1x 2x and 24 hour on it. Any idea how this timer operates?

    Cheers

It could be any make of timer but, 1 is on once a day, 2 is twice and 24 is on constantly. There should be 4 "hands", 1(on), 2(off), 3(on) & 4(off). For example, put 1 at 6am, 2 at 9am, 3 at 5pm and 4 at 11pm. Then set the dial to the correct time. Listen for a hum or buzz to make sure that the motor is OK and the timer is actually working.
    Jim.
