Missed Contracpetive Pill

    Hi there!
I missed three days of my contraceptive pill (only thing I didn't bring to EP apparently!). I rang the chemist after the 3rd day and asked what I should do. He told me to continue taking my pill as normal, but that I would need to use another form of contraception, as I'm not covered till I start my new pack next month.
However, my pill tracker app, the NHS webiste, and the leaflet that comes with my pill say otherwise. They all indicate that if I take the pill for 7 consecutive days that I am covered.
Can anyone tell me who I should listen to? Don't want to take any chances! :)

If you don't want to take any chances, shouldn't you just use the second form of protection til next pack?!?

Oh probably should have mentioned that I'm a slightly allergic to condoms and my boyfriend and I avoid using them if possible. The allergy ones are very expensive! Haha

Unfortunately, we cannot give medical advice here on Boards. It's always best to talk to a professional.

Personally, I'd always err on the side of caution
