Got a set of alloys for the OH's cars from a scrapyard and now want to change the tyres across to the new wheels. The existing tyres are all fine, does anyone know a place that would change them over without us buying new tyres there? Happy to pay within reason. We're in D12 so preferably local. Thanks

Any tyre place should do this, but be prepared for a tale of woe from them e.g you can't take tyres off a rim and put them back on, or when we took your tyres off we found mice living inside them i.e some story to try sell you new tyres.

I've never had a problem with doing this. They'll just charge you whatever their standard fitting fee is, around €15 per wheel.

I think Treacys in Poddle Park have a tyre machine. Worth asking if that's local enough.

You can try Roundabout Tyres on the Walkinstown Roundabout, just behind the Cherry Tree pub.
I've always found them to be honest and well priced

I can come and change them at your house if you need ;)
