I'd start with rewriting your post, so that it makes sense. Reads like your keyboard farted.

I don't know if you're making a statement, or proposing a question, or both.

I'm thinking there is a question at the end, because the question mark, accounts for 50% of the punctuation.

As long as either the caller or the receiver consents to the recording, then it is legal.

I'm dyslexic myself. I know it's frustrating trying to read badly spelt statements but I think it's a cheap shot knocking people over it

Unfortunately, its not the spelling or grammar. It's just hard to read, I got it the second time I read it.

I'm guessing it would be legal once you have the other person's authority.

Really? I've read it 4 times and I'm none the wiser about what the OP is trying to say.

@OP, it's an internet forum where the only method of communicating is through the written word. If your ability to write coherently is that impaired, I'd suggest trying a voice to text program. As it stands, I really doubt anyone will be able to glean enough info from your post to offer you a useful answer.

    You did what now?

Good morning OP. I seem to remember there was a previous thread dealing with this issue. You might find some more information on that thread that might be useful to you. Best of luck. I hope whatever issue you have is resolved to your satisfaction

Ok, this is what I took from the OP..

    Hi guys,
Say I recorded a phone call to somebody and at the end of the call I told them it had been recorded. Their response was, I can use and play the recording back if I like.

What are my rights for using this in a legal way, would I have permission?

A lot of peoples reaction when you say you've just recorded them & you are going to use it would be said defensively " yeah, use it, I don't care even though they wouldn't want it used.

Two questions. Is the above reply enough to give permition & should they have given permition before recording began?

How come you typed that so well whereas your first post is gibberish?

If you are one party of the call, then you do not need their consent, perfectly legal. If you record a call between two other people and you are not a party to the call, then you cannot use the recording.

Also, directed at everyone else, if you can't make a fairly good guess at what the OP is trying to ask, id be questioning your own intelligence and reasoning ability. The fact you then post to confirm your lack of understand just cements my previous impression of you.

The op just needed a little encouragement.

Back on topic please with no more of the high horse type comments, which only serve to inflame.
