Have you contacted your accommodation to see if they can still take you? Saw a Facebook post this morning from someone saying her accommodation is completely flooded and her hosts have advised her not to travel to Cuba.

Cuba was devastated by Irma, it was the worst Atlantic hurricane since 1992. I doubt it'll all be sorted out by Friday!!

You'd be surprised the amount of rebuilding they would do in Cuba between here and February, labour is cheap in those countries and they don't tend to get things bogged down in redtape forever. Cuba is also a communist country, they'd handle hurricanes much better than other countries due to their frequency and law and order would be strict there.

After a disaster like that prices should be lower and its not like the whole country was hammered just the North Coast, if I had the opportunity to go to Cuba I'd definitely take it. Plus if you have it already booked and you abandon it then you will probably lose whatever money you've paid, if your just thinking about it then its all down to yourself really.

    Hi,

My wife and I traveled to Cuba in November 2008, 2 months after Hurricane Ike hit.
It was a Cat 4 hurricane that caused a huge amount of damage and killed 7 (... I think)
I was in 2 minds about proceedding with the holiday, spent a good deal of time researching the amount of damage and spoke to the travel agents also. We were reassured that all was well in Havana and Varadero where we were staying.

As it turned out there had been a significant amount of damage in both places but the cleanup operation put in place was amazing, they rely so much on tourism the reparations were given top priority.
The centre of Havana and all of the tourist areas looked as if nothing at all had happened, it was only when we ventured out into the outskirts (2 or 3 miles out ) you could see the effects of the hurricane and the ongoing repairs.
Same story in Varadero, the beach and all of the hotels had been restored 100%.

Talk to your travel agent and be guided by their advice, the last thing they will want to do is send clients on a holiday that won't meet their expectations and lose them as a prospective future client.
    Can't wait to go back!!!!
    Enjoy
I'm sure it will be 100% by the time you get there in February
