Marriage Cert

I need to track down a copy of my husband's marriage cert from his first marriage.
He was married in Florida so I can't just go online & get it.
The original cert was taken by the judge during his divorce hearing (which was in Ireland).
My question is would he be able get a copy of the court documents that would hopefully have a copy of the cert in it and if so how would we go about doing that.

    Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I will make use of that link to get a copy for the future, I didn't realise he could order them online like that.
What I should have put in my OP however was that we'd need it for next week so we wouldn't get the online copy in time.

Depending on the purpose for which you want the certificate now, a photocopy may not be acceptable. You won't get the original back off the court file.

If a photocopy is acceptable, your best bet may be for him to approach the lawyer who acted for your husband in the divorce proceedings. He'll almost certainly have kept a copy of everything filed in court. This will probably be quicker than trying to get your hands on the court file.

Yes a photocopy would be fine, it's just for a house sale.

I'm not sure if he still has the information for the guy who acted for him during the divorce, he wasn't a solicitor but a clerk of the courts ( I think that's what he said ).

You'd think once you were divorced that would be it but it really does follow you around for the rest of your life :(
