    hi
    i have a strange problem.
moved into a new build. have climote for operating gas heating across 3 zones.
i switch on water heating and bedroom heating everyday for half an hour around 6am.
even after 3 showers there is a lot of really hot water in the evening.
i switched off heating next day and i had hot water next day too.
    is this common?
i checked with climote guys and they tested and confirmed no unwanted signals sent to boiler.
    any suggestions?

Have you got an immersion heater that kicking in?

immersion switch upstairs is always OFF.

Modern hot water cylinders are very well insulated, very low heat loss, so the cylinder could be retaining heat for nearly 24 hours.

Speak to your electrician or plumber, see if your immersion is wired to periodically bring immersion on.
