    With that juice available, how long would it take to charge the Tesla 3?
    I realise they are two options on the Tesla 3, 55 and 75.
    Just a ballpark, thanks.

    30-45 minutes (unless your battery is empty and you want to charge to 100%)

    That's really basic math ;)
    * for 55 kWh version: 55 kWh / 72 kW = 55/72 h
    * for 75 kWh version: 75 kWh / 72 kW = 75/72 h

    Well, add 10 minutes for slowing down at the end...

    Birdhill... they refiled planning permission after approval looking to increase the number of supercharger stalls from 8 to 12, should be up and running in a few months. Enfield... no planning filed but due before the end of 2017.

    A Galway supercharger was planned but no longer on the cards.

    According to the map, in addition to Ballacolla, there's three pending, M4, limerick and belfast/lisburn

    That makes perfect sense actually.

    Any tesla can cross the island east to west without need to charge.

    But going south-north - be it Cork to Sligo, Bantry to Belfast or Wexford to Letterkenny, you would need to top-up and will cross that line of three superchagers on your way.

    Its like anywhere else really, target the longer intercity routes. Really, any trip that you are making cross country is likely to be, as you said, either on that route or close enough to divert towards it.

    The one near limerick is Birdhill. M4 is the Enfield motorway service area.
