    Hi,

PC has stated to act strange over the weekend. Its freezing up for a few seconds and internet is very slow and then upfreezing. Other devices on network are fine and ive disconnected the internet cable but freeze up is still happing. PC used mostly for internet and gaming and is decent enough. Overall just acting sluggish. Any suggestions??

Edit:Just tried to play a few games. Either they wont run or run but very sluggish. Have updated graphics drivers. Very strange..

Could be overheating, hardware fault, many things....you could try some elimination to try and figure it out.

    Standard troubleshooting:
    get HWINFO - Check Temps
Press Ctrl+Shift+Escape - Task Manager - any apps using a high cpu percentage?
Run Malwarebytes , do a scan, post results if stuff has been found (clean + save log)
Remove ram one at a time, booting inbetween each and running your apps
Remove graphics card (if pci etc) then test it for a while.

Have you installed a new program or hardware device recently?

Do you have a good anti virus program and firewall. Is your anti virus up to date and have you run a scan. If your machine is too slow then you need to restart the machine in safe mode and run an anti virus scan.

Cheers folks, a simple update of graphics drivers sorted it out.
