Tidying Up Under Sink Connections - Cost

    Hi All,

The washing machine in my house has finally given up the ghost, and as I'll need to disconnect the feed to install a new one I'm thinking of tidying up all of the connections under the sink (dishwasher, garden tap, washing machine, sink taps etc), as some have no stop cock valves to isolate each feed, and the mains feed is not securely attached the wall. Can anyone give me an idea on cost of a plumber for this job?

    Thanks

    Alan

Each plumber has their own prices. Best thing is to get a quote or a few quotes. Other plumbers might not agree but I'd hazard a guess that you are looking at 70 to 200 depending on the amount of work and parts required.

Usually you only need a valve on the mains coming in. This valve will shut off the water to the dishwasher, washing machine and cold for the tap and outside tap.
