.....before I take one in the back. Just getting my wild camping (not cycling this time) kit together. Looking forward to it but hear that you gotta be careful in the hunting season, Sept. 1st.??? to.....???? Any advice? Will most likely try camping west side of mountains.

September 1st to February 28th. I wouldn't say you'll be in any danger. Wicklows a big county, just respect warning signs etc.
