Have a 2006 opc astra and having boost problems, had the engine out of the car all well and good replacing the gear box and riding the rest up, put the engine back in all well and good the boost solenoid one the connections got damaged on removal got a new genuine solenoid connected all up no different still same problem I'm having
the car drives 100% but will not boost over 9psi sometimes it drops off dramatically, or won't reach 9psi, when you put sport mode on its like it goes into limp mode and you hear pops and the power just drops like something kicks in a safety feature. the car has a frony mount intercooler and i have replaced any work hoses and checked connections all seem to be ok. The vacuum hoses seem to be all back in there connect places and i disconnected very few.

one thing i noticed on my car and another opc I don't know if its normal or not the boost pressure sensor on the ecu bracket has a little vacuum hose that attaches to nothing is thing normal or is this meant to connect to somewhere? hose is about 3-4 inches long doesn't appear to be able to reach anywhere
