It's a rehash of their old scheme, you are getting a payment every year but Coillte are taking the thinnings and the real golden egg which is the clearfell

the real golden egg comes in the form of a lump sum at felling under this scheme....i wonder is there much difference?

Your getting 10% (I think) of the clearfell value which could be 7 to 10 k per acre, I'd be fairly sick if it was me !

No you will get 7 to 10 k per acre that's assuming you have a stand of either norway or sitka spruce
