Looks like Cork is getting its own version of Token.

They're not revealing any details of what type cabs will be on offer yet so the pessimist in me doesn't have high hopes!

But its still good to see something like this opening here.

Could be great.
As much fun as my sole visit to Token was, it isn't a perfect place and there's plenty of things Barcadia could get even better.

Payed a visit Saturday night and I must say I was well impressed with what was there. Asteroids on a proper vector monitor, Simpsons 4 player arcade machine, Outrun SP2 or whatever it's called and Space invaders with the artwork overlay were just some of my highlights. Star wars vector machine coming soon along with TMNT (turtles in time I think?).

Took a few photos of all the cabs but can't be arsed posting them up at this hour.

its not getting much love once the launch hype died down,
The flipper gap is wider than usual and people are saying its unfair.
the art work is savage on it.By a guy called zombie yetti.
He's done the artwork on the new Guardians of the galaxy pin too

Any more recent impressions of this place? A pity there isn't a list of the machines on the website.

We're thinking of taking a group of 10 there for St. Patrick's Day after the rugby.

The food is quite nice..burgers pizza and fried chicken etc
You'd have to book a table if ye want food cause its quite popular!

They have TMNT..asteroids..donkey kong..street fighter..old school pinball machines.
I've been a few times its good fun

Sorry if this belongs in a new thread but does anyone know can you refund the tokens because myself and a few friends were there a few nights ago but the place was jointed so we didn't get to play many games before they closed.

I doubt it but why not just go back there when it's more quite and use them up?

I would but we played most of the games we wanted to and I would rather exchange the 40ish tokens we have left over together for something else

I went there the other week, had time off & didn't fancy a big holiday so just went for a Thursday.
Great food in the restaurant itself (I recommend the deep-fried pickles, deep-fried mac'n'cheese, the chicken & the pulled pork).
Decent cocktails in the arcade.
Will check out the bowling alley if I have enough friends with me next time.
