I would say the system stops the printing of the brake test result when they enter the backing plate needs replaced. logic would be that to do the backing plate you would need to take off the brakes so they would need re tested, but you can see the results of the brake test on the left, which where ok.

Looks like you need new break discs, headlights to be done and tracking. Shouldn't be too expensive to fix..

It says backplates. Braking seemed to be fine.

Oh so it does...you could try get them from a breakers yard. Might be a be tricky because most of them would be rusty. Could cost 100e from the dealer

I've read on here of plenty of people trimming the rust uniformly off their backing plates and passing afterwards.

My own were very crispy and I trimmed the rust off before the initial NCT and it passed no bother with around an inch missing off the outer edge of the backing plate.

Test was done, but they will want to check it again as you would have to remove brakes to fit back plates. Also once they have to retest you are liable to a €28 retest fee. Money for old rope.

It was done, but those test results are dropped because you have to replace parts of the braking system and retest.

Must be an issue still with l/h headlamp assembly. Is there anything that looks different about it than the r/h headlamp? Correct bulbs in place? Page 47 here http://rsa.ie/Documents/NCT/NCT Manual Revise JULY 2014.pdf might help figuring out what could be wrong with LH headlamp vs RH one.
