I know there is a Physics and Chemistry Combined book by Daithi Quinn but unfortunately I don't know how to get it.

Does anybody know where I can get it in Cork, or online? Or does anybody have it themselves and are not using it?

Could you ask last year's class?

I don't know anyone who has done it, and it wasn't offered in my school

I never found the book either and managed to get a H1 in PhysChem this year. Get yourself Revise Chemistry Live book and print the relevant Physics Chapters notes from thephysicsteacher.ie Use these and the syllabus to make your own notes! That's what I did and it worked out perfectly!

Disclaimer! There's a few minor things you'll find on the PhysChem syllabus that aren't on the separate courses, e.g. Quantum numbers, Brownian motion, etc. But you can honestly find loads of info online about them and you'll be sorted.

Also! The chemistry book doesn't have the chapter on Crystals and Materials but it's available here: https://www.folens.ie/sites/default/files/Revise%20Chemistry%20Live!%20Option%20Chapters(1).pdf

I'm actually repeating my leaving cert and got a h4 with minimal work in physics. I want to swap physics with PhysChem. I have plenty of physics notes and if you recommend I just get a revise chemistry book although I have the full chemistry text book (I did it in fourth year) then I will go ahead with that. Thanks for your help

If you already have the textbooks for physics and chemistry you're actually probably fine without using the revision guide. Use them along with the syllabus to make notes!
