    Hi all ,

Completed an interview with a company on Tuesday. The following day I received an email asking for references
( Wednesday) I haven't herd anything from the company since Wednesday, should I drop them an email ?

    Thanks

When you say Wednesday do you mean 2 days ago?

Don't contact them, even if they are checking the references it takes ages to do it.
It can be quite difficult to contact the referees sometimes.
Is this after they made an offer? If so be cool

Yah two days ago . Well no offer was made , I just did the interview and then the following day they emailed me asking for references. Yah I'll give it another few days. It probably does take a while to contact references.

I would nearly give it until the end of next week. As a general rule of thumb, asking for references is a very good sign so they might have some formalities to do before making you an offer.
