    Hi All,
I want to see IT movie at weekend and am planning on Savoy as will be in town. normally goto ISENSE in Blanch. I know its a big screen but is it any good?
    Is there Atmos sound?

would you recommend imax in cineworld over Savoy 1

    Cheers,

    Hello Ciaran.

If it was me I would go to either Cineworlds IMAX screen or the Odeons Isense screen. As far as I know the Savoy as split screen 1 into two screens now. So its not as big. The Imax screen in Cineworld is very good its not a proper Imax screen but its still very good but its also very expensive. The iSense at the Odeon cinema is good as well. The Point Odeon is just behind the 3Arena.

Just a correction, Screen 1 was not split, it was screen 2 that was split into 3 screens. As of 2 weeks ago screen 1 was still one screen.

Such a pity as I actually preferred Screen 2. I just remember there been talk here about the screens been split and the last time I was at the Savoy to see that film about the 3 women in the 60s that helped the space programme excellent film but just can,t think of it at the moment I was in a tiny little screen and did not like it at all. So have not been to the Savoy since.

I preferred Screen 2 because it was basically the same as screen 1 but they charged a bit less and I just thought it was nicer with better sound.
