    Is this normal after a week??

    I have ordered some wax for the cable but im worried this is overfray!!

    that looks well dodgy. Its hard to see from the pictures where on the bow that is but it would be clear that there's something rubbing that spot.

    Sorry - Yes this is the cables where the arrow passes - So this spot is being hit by the arrows flights.

    Compounds aren't my thing but with the poundage they can develop and the string in that condition, I'd be worried about the string breaking at full draw and the bow being damaged, to say nothing of potential damage to yourself. I don't think the string should be subject to such damage. I think its time to get it checked out by someone familiar with compounds and probably get some information about arrow choice.

    My cable guard was loose so it wasnt pulling the cables out of the way enough. Had to twist the guard and tighten the screw. This is what the a Slider is for, to make room so the flights etc dont clip.
