Building new dormer house at the moment and need to get plastered soon. Will be going with napped plaster finish on outside with stone on 2 sections of the house. What trying decide on is style of reveal to put on windows. Been told lot of newer houses going with no reveals just bead on corners. Seen lot of new builds recently with wide 2 inch reveal border around windows which looks good on some.

Appreciate people's thoughts from those who have e recently built.

It's not purely an aesthetic consideration though in my opinion- plain reveals may not be appropriate in exposed site conditions or coastal locations, unless other measures are taken to prevent rain water running back under the window head (form a drip in the reveal or moulded detail over heads).
