Saw a driver getting into his cabin one day wearing short trousers and flimsy footwear Could have been dressed for the beach. I thought they would have had a more professional dress code?

Bus drivers are like newsreaders, they only have to be dressed from the waist up.

Maybe he didn't have time to find proper clobber because Keanu Reeves told him there was a bomb on the bus.

I saw that in a movie once. It was about a bus that had to speed around the city, keeping its speed over fifty, and if its speed dropped, it would explode! I think it was called “The Bus That Couldn’t Slow Down.”

European and Australian men can look very professional in their well-tailored shorts!

The real question here is did you see a refugee abandon a buggy at the bus stop because the state would provide them with another?

Are you thinking of the milk float in Fr.Ted?

Was it a warm day? Was he wearing smart shorts, or did he look like he was taking the bus out to the beach and buying a 99 for everybody on board?

Just wondering actually what is the dress code. I've some drivers wear their own clothes, some wearing a tie and others not aswell as some wearing a blazer more rare. I've seen some in a white shirt with a DB tie as opposed to a standard blue one and other in a polo shirt with a DB logo on it.

Is uniform even a requirment or just a guideline for this job. Would a driver be disciplined if he/she was not in uniform.

BTW don't care what the driver is wearing as long as my bus gets there safely and on time.

The dress code is actually to wear clothes that do not link the driver to Dublin Bus so to protest this policy the drivers attempt to incorporate some form of Dublin Bus affiliation onto their clothing.

The driver hopped out of the buggy and then drove the bus over it.

a more stringent dress code would probably be of benefit to the parents, as it'd likely be cheaper over the course of a year. On the bright side, he cant put the knee's out of the shorts

Well if they're Daisy Dukes there could be an issue .

What possible difference does what he was wearing make to you ? You were on the bus to be driven somewhere, not to be judge of a fashion show. Take the bus and worry about your own issues.
