Audi A4 Sline v SE for ride firmness?

I'm considering a new Audi A4 for 2018. I currently have a 161 A4 in SE trim with 17" wheels and was wondering would an Sline with the the lower suspension and 18" wheels make for a much harder or uncomfortable ride over my present SE model? Mostly driving on good road surfaces if that would help.

Any opinions from Sline A4 owners appreciated.

S Line suspension and larger rims will definitely make a difference to what you're used to with the SE comfort wise. Should still be comfortable enough though on good roads, best thing to do is try and get an extensive test drive of one and see if you can live with it.

I think that in the UK you can spec an Sline with the standard suspension, maybe you can do the same here?

I believe you can do so here too, but I like how the S line sits lower than the SE and getting the standard suspension might look a bit too high?

I like how the S line sits, just a bit wary that it's ride would be too harsh.

I think you can spec sports suspension which is higher than S-Line but lower than SE. Might be a decent compromise.

I didn't know that. Indeed it sounds like a good compromise. I'll check it out. Thanks.
