Hey, GALWAYINDOOR, I was in Albufeira in August with my hubs and stayed at Aqua Pedra Dos Bicos. We had a sea view and a balcony. I think all the rooms have balconies actually. I believe you can chose the sea view option when booking if it's still available for your dates. More expensive than non sea view rooms naturally. Lovely 4-star hotel and as a bonus, it's an adult-only hotel which would be valuable if you are nursing a hangover! ;) We booked coming into the summer so paid a bit more than the average, it was €1752 for eight nights, I think it can be much lower than that depending. I just looked at a random dates in October on booking.com and looks like you'd get a double room with a sea view for ~ €133/night.

What we loved about the place was that the hotel was really near the strip but was really serene in itself, a very calm, relaxing pool area. They don't take stag and hen dos which was a big help in keeping the place classy.

One negative though was that the pool was absolutely freezing even in the height of August! :( I could only bear going into it between 1pm and 2pm.

I don't have information on any other hotels and other kinds of accommodation in Albufeira, I've only visited there the one time.
