Drip from overflow

    Hi,

Just wondering what would cause a drip from the overflow pipe in the roof. It only seems to happen when the oil heating is on and I only noticed it last night, also I turned down the thermostat in the oil boiler as the radiators were very hot, and noticed some corrosion on the pipes in the boiler. Is it dangerous to run the heating like this or do I need the plumber ASAP?? Is it a big job or just parts and labour?? Need it checked before the weather gets too cold.

    Many thanks
