    Hey,

Do you know if it comes with a suction for windscreen?

What happens after memory is full?

Does it just re write over the card?

    Thanks

Yes, I'd agree with going for a dedicated dashcam. Although the OP's camera does allow for loop recording, but I would see it as a poor choice for a dashcam still.

I'm not so sure I would bother with that camera either though. Very cheap dashcams are usually compromised in some way. Poor footage, full hd is actually upscaled 720p and poor reliability are common. Dashcams are cheap these days, even in bricks and mortar shops you should be able to pick up something very decent for under €100, and online likely for under €60. No point having a dashcam with poor footage where number plates are not readable, or where the camera doesn't record all the time.

I bought one of these supposed 'HD go pro' sj4000 etc clones from TMart e20 approx. Looked great in the box, all the accessories but unbelievable sh1t3 quality video! .... So I would say look for reviews which have actual footage before buying and wait until somebody here actually is happy with one before declaring as a bargain alert! By all means prove me wrong and upload a link to a video clip you take with one of these.

12mp means nothing for a dashcam. Anyway, I never said you could find one for cheaper, what I said was this is something that is worth spending more and getting a quality camera for. No point having a dashcam where your footage is too poor to read number plates or to see in the dark.

These have been posted before, footage is garbage like U2Flyboy says. They'd make a loss with a real sensor at that price.

I'm thinking I might get one of these. Any idea how much footage you can fit on a 32GB card. And presumably the USB cable is the power cable.

If anyone has one already feel free with the feedback.

Dashcams work by filling the card with footage and then re-writing over the top of that footage. So there is never any worry about running out of space. And typically they will have a "save" button. This saves the previous 30 seconds and 30 seconds after the button was pressed in a separate directory on the card which does not get overwritten. So in short, 32GB should record hours of footage, but really it doesn't matter a whole pile either. And yes, USB is for power.

I haven't used this dashcam, but I did some research on youtube a while back and it looks good in both day and night time.
