Hi, my 6 year old son has been diagnosed with Stereotypies, its a physical movement disorder in the Autism spectrum. He's seeing a clinical psychologist in Temple St hospital but its a slow process. Im told it is curable but there's no light at the end of the tunnel yet. Im wondering if there are any other parents out there who have come out the other end-any advice? Are there any support groups out there or bodies who can help? Any info at all greatly appreciated here...many thanks!

scooter1, this is a forum for counsellors and psychologists. You'd have better luck on the Parenting Forum. JC
