If you spend £10 or £20, can't remember which, in Sainsburys you get 2 hours free parking. When you check out they will validate your ticket at the till but you still have to stick it in the machine, again to validate it so that the barrier will go up for you on the way out.

Otherwise it's £1 per hour as far as I remember and sorry, don't know about paying with a card.
